Hollywood Boot Camp

★★★★★

Bigfoot Entertainment’s Hollywood Boot Camp – the reality TV show that brought eight young Filipinos to Los Angeles, USA for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in the filming of a Hollywood film. At stake is a cash prize or a film development package for the winner to use in making his or her own film, and a two-year contract with Bigfoot, with guaranteed work on Bigfoot’s international film projects.

From a month-long nationwide casting process that covered universities and film organizations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, eight of the most eligible aspiring Filipino filmmakers were chosen and flown to Los Angeles, USA. Living in one house that was run like a boot camp, the eight contestants competed in various film training challenges that included writing, directing, cinematography, editing, production design and acting – over the course of the shoot of the forthcoming Bigfoot horror film, Midnight Movie. Bigfoot CEO Kacy Andrews and Hollywood Boot Camp Producers Gisele Fortuna and Tamara Degrève led the selection process. The show is hosted by Australian model and actress, Rebecca Piket.
